Jeremy's cooking

 Jeremy has really become great at cooking.  This summer he invited Malena Colvin and John to come over and make sushi with him!  Jeremy has also made beautiful Ramen dishes which I will try to find pictures of :)

Jester Park with our friends the Morales June 3, 2021

 The Morales family is one of our favorite families we have ever known. Sarah is best friends with Leah, Ben is best friends with Adam, Emma is included in everything Sarah and Leah do, and Noah and Sam like playing together.  We have done lots of activities with them over the years.  This summer we went to Jester Park and had fun on a mini hike and playing in the water!

First Day of Summer June 2, 2021

 On the first day of summer kids went everywhere to play. Sam was all over with neighbor kids leap frog-ing from yard to yard as they found new exciting things to do.  In the evening he came home crying and holding his right arm.  There was no bruising or swelling but I saw the way he was holding it and it reminded me of when he was 2 and had broken his wrist bone.  He had been in Misty and Joe's backyard playing on their monkey bars and had fallen down onto his bum. He put his arm back to cushion his fall and hurt it.  Sam slept through the night okay but the next morning I saw how he was holding it and not using it and I knew I had to take him in.  X-rays revealed a buckle fracture.  First day of summer and he broke his arm!  No pools, sprinklers, water balloons, baths, or any water activity (except showering with a plastic arm cover.)  No trampolines, monkey bars, running, or any other jarring activity for a month, and then another two weeks until his brace was off.  Poor kiddo!
